Hebrew 1:1-3 KJV God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:
The writer of Hebrews had to make some things clear because these people, though saved, were struggling with Judaism.
He said God was not speaking through His son who was an express image of God
If they saw Jesus, they will see God in Him
In Exodus 19, God instructed Moses to tell the people that He was coming to speak with them.
There was such great preparation for the coming of the Lord.
When God eventually came down, the children of Israel were scared.
They saw fire, smoke, hail and brimstone. They made up their minds not to see him again and Moses was expressly authorised to meet God on their behaves.
Even Moses was afraid of His presence
The children of Israel as a God they could worship from afar. God decided to speak to is through Jesus.
Jesus is God’s express image as authenticated by the book of John.
Jesus came that we may have a fresh understanding of God.
Understanding of God is shaped by our experiences with Him.
God does not want us to rest our understanding of Him on earthly things, which is why He sent Jesus
Jesus reveals to us, how God is, how He behaves, what He likes and what He detastes.
Our minds have been indulged and challenges by several things.
Matthew 7:9-11 KJV
Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?
Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?
If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
There is no parent that does not like his child. Some mother’s love their children more than their husbands.
If we as based, corrupt and wicked as the human nature is, whatever the child asks for we give. If we cannot afford, we will find substitutes.
Why do we think that God will not treat us the way we treat our children?
All our struggles are ephemeral and one after the other , God will meet th desires of your heart
He is melting your doubts and you will have a clear revelation of who God is
1 Corinthians 1:27 KJV
27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
The fact that they are not happening now does not mean it will not happen.
Hebrews 2:5-8 KJV
For unto the angels hath he not put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak.
6 But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man that thou visitest him?
7 Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands:
8 Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him.
David caught a glimpse of heaven and saw the Angels questioning God.
God did not surcharge Israel. It was because of their unbelief that they did not enter the promised land.
Even as God was feeding them, they were serving other gods!
The depths of God’s love for us is incomprehensible.
Psalms 139:16 NIV
Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.
YOU WILL SMILE AGAIN, because God is turning things around .
You are there wondering what will happen and the reason for certain occurrences… heaven is also wondering why you are wondering!
It’s already provided
Every promise you can claim

Everything you need, is already provided
Isaiah 49:13 NIV

For the Lord comforts his people
and will have compassion on his afflicted ones.
We serve a Father who is compassionate
We serve a Father who is merciful
Psalms 146:8-9 NIV
The Lord is gracious and compassionate,
slow to anger and rich in love.
9 The Lord is good to all;
he has compassion on all he has made.
We served a God who sees our tears and is moved by them.
At the city of Nain, he met a burial procession of the son of a widow and intervened to raise him back to life.
At the pool of Bethesda, he say a man who was there for 38 years
The man who has no man has a God
I don’t know what is giving you sleepless nights and making you cry
We have a heavenly father who knows what you need and His compassion is stretched out to you.
In another story, a man was born blind.
Many queried why he was born blind
All those things are balderdash in the eyes of God
We have a Father who sees us as his treasure.
God is not a man that he should lie and though weeping may last for a night. Joy is coming in the morning.
Can you turn your eyes from them and focus on the merciful and compassionate God.
Mercy has to do with favour. God has favoured us.
A day is coming when all that has been spoken to you by the word will come to pass
I hasten that day to come quickly
Every obstruction stopping that day from coming, even if it is unbelievable, I clear it out tonight.
Your day is coming!
God will magnify you in the eyes of men.
There are deposits inside you and in due season, the government will see it and magnify you.
Why?
We serve a God who is compassionate.
Turnaround!
God is waiting for you!
When you are ready, God will b ready.
PRAYERS
He is pained by your pains
He is saddened by your sadness.
Go by the doorway of mercy and plead for his mercy like blind Bathemaus.
I may not know your pain and sorrows, God knows your pains, secret tears and sorrows.
Every accuser is silenced tonight in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
