But Zion said, “The Lord has forsaken me, And my Lord has forgotten me.” “Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Your sons shall make haste; Your destroyers and those who laid you waste Shall go away from you. Lift up your eyes, look around and see; All these gather together and come to you. As I live,” says the Lord, “You shall surely clothe yourselves with them all as an ornament, And bind them on you as a bride does. “For your waste and desolate places, And the land of your destruction, Will even now be too small for the inhabitants; And those who swallowed you up will be far away.
A woman in travail is always in pains and crying, and sometimes may not desire to go that path again.
But after the pains, come joy for the birth of a new life.
Nigeria is passing through her birth pangs. She will soon come out of this phase.
1. God will still remember you, your family and Nigeria
Psalms 34:19 NKJV
Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all.
No matter what you are passing through, one day it shall come to an end
2. God is interested in our cases.
May God turn us back to righteousness.
It is sometimes very discouraging that believers in Government forget where they were hewn because of love for money.
Proverbs 14:34 KJV
Righteousness exalteth a nation: But sin is a reproach to any people.
The God that remembered Rachael and made her a mother will remember you.
Genesis 30:22 KJV
And God remembered Rachel, and God hearkened to her, and opened her womb.
3. The fear of God
The fear of God is coming back to Nigeria.
He says if we humble ourselves and pray, he will hear from heaven and will heal our land.
2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV
if my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
