The fact that every man faces battles in life is incontestable because life itself is pregnant with troubles, problems
There are forces and even personalities that are Challenging and opposing our destinies
There are forces fighting our humanity

Destinies have  been destroyed
Lives cut short
Pregnancies terminated
Marriages destroyed

It is a lie to believe you have no battles to fight, except you have no treasures.
No child of God is a nonentity

Unless you know how you can have power over these forces, you can not live a victorious Christian life

Battles are not won in the flesh, not by our wisdom.
We need the power of the holy spirit and God’s supernatural power.

In the battles of life, power is our weapon and spiritual honour
Unless we are armed with the truth, we cannot overcome

HOW TO HAVE POWER OVER VISIBLE AND INVISIBLE FORCES
1. You must be filled with the holy spirit continuously
2. You must seek to hear the voice of God
3. You must update (renew) your mind
4. Develop a culture of prayer and fasting.

Judges 14:5-6 (KJV)  Then went Samson down, and his father and his mother, to Timnath, and came to the vineyards of Timnath: and, behold, a young lion roared against him.
And the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him, and he rent him as he would have rent a kid, and he had nothing in his hand: but he told not his father or his mother what he had done.

Judges 15:14-15 (KJV)  And when he came unto Lehi, the Philistines shouted against him: and the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him, and the cords that were upon his arms became as flax that was burnt with fire, and his bands loosed from off his hands.
And he found a new jawbone of an ass, and put forth his hand, and took it, and slew a thousand men therewith.

1. You must be filled with the holy spirit continuously

Sampson was on his way to fulfilling God’s purpose. Marriage is part of God’s plan for your life.

The parents did not know that it was the will of God, who is a Master strategist, to avenge Himself on the Philistines.

A young lion stepped on his way to hinder him from fulfilling God’s plan.
Had God not empowered Sampson, the plan of God  for Sampson would have been terminated

The plans of God will not be stopped in your life in the Name of Jesus.

Many lives have been terminated abruptly because of the lions.

It’s expedient to be filled with the holy spirit to overcome.

A young 16-year-old girl, not sick in any way, just fell down and died and the parents covered her up and brought her body to my sitting room.
To the glory of God, power jammed power and stood up on her feet and left the house on her own.

Sampson was bound and the Bible records that the ropes melted like wax.

A young lady who sings in the choir testified that she sees a rope descend each time she sings. Her pastor explained it away by faith.
I invited her to church and we prayed. She slept off and when she awoke she testified that the ropes started cutting and God instantly delivered her.

Many are bound by invisible and even visible ropes. Ropes of
Depression
Sicknesses
Tonight, as we pray, the ropes will melt in the Name of Jesus.

If you are not filled with the holy spirit, your life if filled with 3/dangerous enemies
1. The flesh
2. The world
3. The devil

The holy is the source of power over invisible battles.

Ephesians 4:27 (KJV)  Neither give place to the devil.

Many Christians will go to hell because of the flesh.
There are wars between the flesh and the spirit of God
There is also the world to contend with
It takes the power of the holy spirit to overcome

When the devil rises up, you can rise up in the spirit and contend with it victoriously.

Elisha was to be arrested by men and he spoke just one word…Lord strike them with blindness
The supposed captor took then Captives
You will take your enemies captives in the Name of Jesus

Acts 13:11 (KJV)  And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness, and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand.

The power of God will sharpen your mouth
The reason we speak and nothing happens is because our mouths are not sharpened
If there is a time to have our mouths sharpened, it is this time.

2. You must seek to hear the voice of God

Isaiah 30:30-31 (KJV)  And the LORD shall cause his glorious voice to be heard, and shall shew the lighting down of his arm, with the indignation of his anger, and with the flame of a devouring fire, with scattering, and tempest, and hailstones.
For through the voice of the LORD shall the Assyrian be beaten down, which smote with a rod.

There is no battle in your life you cannot win if you can hear God’s voice and obey it

Psalms 29:3 (KJV)  The voice of the LORD is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the LORD is upon many waters.

– The voice of God can break every hardship
– The voice of God communicates wisdom for direction

Isaiah 30:21 (KJV)  And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.

Proverbs 2:6 (KJV)  For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.

The voice of God gives direction for the possession of our inheritance.
Ignorance is costly. May you not fallow in ignorance.
Highfliers fly on the wings of revelation.
It comes by hearing from the Lord.

Stop running around.
Listen to the voice of God

David never lost any battle because he sought to hear from God at all times

May God open the eyes If the spirit and cause you to hear his glorious voice.

I do not know what has constituted itself as Assyrians in your life, the voice of God will make you overcome.

The lion of the tribe of Judah has prevailed.
Father, every evil lion sent on the way and is targeting me, may it be swallowed up by the lion of the tribe of Judah in the Name of Jesus!

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

In a Christian Religious Studies class, a teacher ask a class: what is prayer?

An innocent student answered:
Prayer is communication with God. There could be no better answer.

It is possible a Christian to read books on prayers and yet does not know jow to. pray

Prayer is so important that every religion has some curricula on prayers.

Some persons are born with some defects in their bodies, and that means everyone has to pray.
Some religion attach so much importance to their prayer time that they do not mind being sacked for praying a tthe time alloted.

It is only children of God who attach less importance to prayer.

God enjoys fellowship with us. That is why He had to go to the garden to enjoy fellowship with Adam.

Consider having a child who says nothing to you from morning till night?
You will likely want to know the paternity and maternity of such a child.

The child comes in without knocking, in spite of repeated admonitions.
God expects you to break in without protocols

Imagine a child coming to.ask for school fees with a book to read from!
He comes to ask for fees and does not care how you get the money

When you are praying, pray like you are praying to a God who is the Lord of the Universe.
I encourage you to have a special day of prayers that everyone knows of and respect it as the day you are shut off from everyone else.
Don’t compromise your prayer day as a believer. Not even your phone

G – Gods time for
S – Service in the
M – Ministry

Sometimes we are tempted to ask or think if God actually heard our prayers!

We pray all manner of prayers, including that the President should die. He will not die, because they have immunity.

We need to know that there will be evidences that we did not waste our time to come out here to pray.

We must believe that God has answered our prayers.
God has seen our heart and is sending answers.

CONDITIONS FOR ANSWER TO PRAYERS
1. You must be born again. (2Chro 7:14). Then he will delete your name from the book of death and download them in the book of life
He knows His children and deals with them directly.
Others merely enjoy environmental miracles
No one will go to heaven by mistake!

2. You must be called by His name.
There is a possibility to be a Christian and yet be named after your family, village and deities. May you no longer be named after your family and village, but after God in the Name of Jesus.

It takes humility to pray.
Proud people do not pray.
They do not pray before singing, preaching or exhorting.
The same way the Pastor prepares for his message on Sunday is the same way a Choirister should prepare before coming to lead in praises or soloing a song. May humility come upon you in the Name of Jesus.

4. Seek His face
There is a difference between praying and seeking His face.

We pray for ourselves and our needs and then graduate to praying for our enemies to die.
Since we started praying, they have still not died.

5. Turn from your wicked ways
We are not referring to out President, Governors and Bosses, but us!
The grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men teaching them.

Lying
Competitions
Church is not for competition but complimentation

When all these are done, GOD WILL HEAR FROM HEAVEN.

How can you sing a SONG without having the SON?
It is gross indicipline for a choir to minister and leave without waiting to pray.
This is penticostal rascalism and unacceptable.

To repent means to go back to the top, to the basis!

God says if we do that, He will heal our nation Nigeria.

Confess your sins to God and ask for forgiveness

Bitterness
Prayerlessness
Unnecessary excuses
Actions and inactions
Advertently or inadvertently
Lord I rent my heart before you and sit on ashes.
THE BLOOD OF JESUS!

Double Minded OR Drawing Near? – Dr. Tope Momah

James 4:8 (KJV) Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

You cannot draw near and be double minded.
We call it
Ambivalence
Lack of self worth
But the Bible calls it double mindedness.

You have to purify yourself.

For many, after the first
– lost of the job
– lost of the baby
– lost of the contract
– lost of the proposal
We draw back!

You cannot draw nigh to God when your mind is always changing

We live in a time when men love to go with the crowd rather than the cloud
Where men love to go with the popular opinion rather than righteousness

A clear example is found in the Bible in a Character named Reuben.

Genesis 49:3-4 (KJV)  Reuben, thou art my firstborn, my might, and the beginning of my strength, the excellency of dignity, and the excellency of power:
Unstable as water, thou shalt not excel; because thou wentest up to thy father’s bed; then defiledst thou it: he went up to my couch.

Reuben was carrying a double portion but was disqualified!

Unstable as water, …

The people who are unstable always make excuses!

Now let us see Zebulun…

Genesis 49:13 (KJV)  Zebulun shall dwell at the haven of the sea; and he shall be for an haven of ships; and his border shall be unto Zidon.

You cannot be a Reuben
You must move on to become a Zebulun!

A Reuben is unstable

While Reuben lost everything, Zebulun became a haven for ship.
He financed Issachar
Issachar was anointed but had not money.

WHY DID ZEBULUN BECAME THE WEATHIEST MAN AMONGST THE SONS OF JACOB?

1. He was not double hearted!

How did Zebulun change the face of  finance in Israel?
There is money in Akwa Ibom, but the Zebuluns are the ones who will touch money.
They are not spiritual prostitutes, jumping from Church to Church

PRAYER

Is There ANYTHING Too Hard For God? – Dr. Tope Momah

Jeremiah 32:27 (KJV) Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me?

Jeremiah 32 was a story of impossibilities.
Jeremiah had just a luxury plot in a place that was plundered by Babylonians who were also taking the people captive.

He was questioning God who asked him to buy the land firing a period of recession.

In vs. 27, the Lord said;
  Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me?

For someone who is questioning the political and economic climate, that God who asked Jeremiah is also asking you…IS ANYTHING TOO HARD FOR GOD?

Why is God asking this question when he knows the answer?

1. HE IS ALWAYS CURRENT
He wanted Jeremiah to know He was not a boss or colleague, not any man whose opinion changes with the tide

We must change our mentality to Know that God is a current God

Hebrews 11:1 (KJV)  Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Faith is a NOW thing.
He says…I AM THE LORD
Any time you need Him, today or tomorrow. He is I AM THE LORD

Legal opinion can change
Medical opinion can change.
Financial opinions can change

God only CAN NOT CHANGE

Malachi 3:6 (KJV)  For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

Do not judge your circumstances and situation with the experiences of others. Don’t judge your present by the Past of others.

Do not look at the statistics.
God is able to do what no man can do, notwithstanding your past…IS THERE ANYTHING TOO HARD FOR GOD?

He IS
He “AM”
HE “BE”
He is not a YESTERDAY GOD!

He is whatever you want Him to be.
He be wetin you want make hin be

Never put God in the Past.
Always put Him in the current.
Some people put Him in the future…e go beta!

Hebrews 11:1 says NOW FAITH IS!

Refuse to stay where men and society have put you.

2. CONSUMED
He is the God of all flesh.
The God who consumes all your flesh.

Many Christians want the God of the supernatural yet want to want in the natural

Philippians 3:10 (KJV)  That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

To know the power of his resurrection, you must let him consume your flesh

Philippians 3:8-10 (KJV)  Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,
And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:
That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings,being made conformable unto his death;

All things! He suffered the loss of all things.

Until you give up all it takes, you cannot take all He gives.

If you still rule your own life
If you are still determining
What to say,
What to do,
What to hear
How to do things,

…you cannot see the God of the impossible.

Every time you walk by your flesh, you limit God
If a man lifts you, the man can drop you, but if God lifts you, God will sustain you.

If God will be the God of all flesh in your life, you cannot take bribes, dance in clubs, commit sin anyhow

3. GIVE GOD CRITICAL SITUATIONS

Many of us give God moi-moi things to d.

If your prayers do not challenge your faith, then you do not want God of Impossibility to work for you.

God wants to make a difference that people saw as an impossibility.
God heals headaches, but He can do exceedingly beyond our imaginations

God wants us to stop sending him the regulars.
He wants you to send Him the critical ones

Mark 9:23 (KJV) Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

God wants to show forth His power in impossible situations

Psalms 81:10 (KJV) I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.

God wants us to be the light in the darkness.

If you want the God for whom nothing is too hard,
1. Understand  that he is current
2. He must consume you
3. He wants the critical situations

Whatever you have been told by God.
Whatever has been too hard before now, today it will become possible
NOTHING IS TOO HARD FOR THIS GOD

PRAYERS
God is faithful and will perform what He has spoken.

Let the anointing that

Makes a difference
Come on us

Manifest Lord
Whatever has been impossible shall come to pass

Are You in His Courts OR Are You at the Gates? – Dr. Tobe Momah

Psalms 100:1-5 (KJV) Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.
Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.
Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

The focus of this message is in verse

We need to understand the architectural structure of the Temple of Old
The outter court -/where everyone else could be
The inner court -/for the privileged Jews
The hollies of bullies  – where only the  Priest could enter.

Notwithstanding our privileged positions as the redeemed, we have not fully utilized the privilege.

Psalms 100:2, 4 (KJV)  Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.
Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

This means there are levels for different people
There is a corporate and general presence, but not everyone gets to enter the courts.

The courts Are where decisions are made, where life decisions are taken, and only those who enter with praises can access the hollies of hollies.

Are you in the Court or at the Gate?

Many believers are merely at the gate!

Esther 4:1-2 (KJV)  When Mordecai perceived all that was done, Mordecai rent his clothes, and put on sackcloth with ashes, and went out into the midst of the city, and cried with a loud and a bitter cry;
And came even before the king’s gate: for none might enter into the king’s gate clothed with sackcloth.

There was a problem…Mordecai fasted, cried, and prayed to God but was limited because he could not enter through the gate of the King’s house because of his appearance.

Esther 5:9-10 (KJV)  Then went Haman forth that day joyful and with a glad heart: but when Haman saw Mordecai in the king’s gate, that he stood not up, nor moved for him, he was full of indignation against Mordecai.
Nevertheless, Haman refrained himself: and when he came home, he sent and called for his friends, and Zeresh his wife.

Mordecai was wailing but the King was never aware that he was at the outer gate.

Esther 6:4-6 (KJV)  And the king said, Who is in the court? Now Haman was come into the outward court of the king’s house, to speak unto the king to hang Mordecai on the gallows that he had prepared for him.
And the king’s servants said unto him, Behold, Haman standeth in the court. And the king said, Let him come in.
So Haman came in. And the king said unto him, What shall be done unto the man whom the king delighteth to honour? Now Haman thought in his heart, To whom would the king delight to do honour more than to myself?

Here the King was interested in who was in the inner court

Esther 5:1-2 (KJV)  Now it came to pass on the third day, that Esther put on her royal apparel, and stood in the inner court of the king’s house, over against the king’s house: and the king sat upon his royal throne in the royal house, over against the gate of the house.
And it was so, when the king saw Esther the queen standing in the court, that she obtained favour in his sight: and the king held out to Esther the golden sceptre that was in his hand. So Esther drew near, and touched the top of the sceptre.

You have been making noise from the outer court…IT IS TIME TO DRAW NEAR!

Mordecai was wailing and rolling in the mud but was not heard.
If Esther had not shown up in the inner court, nothing would have changed for Israel.

The place that makes the difference is the entrance into the inner court!

It is time to go beyond just:
-Singing
-Thanking
And into the realm of Praise.

Put on the oil of gladness
Put on the garment of praise…
The God who called you will accomplish what He has purposed for your life.

THE 5Cs
If you want to enter into the realm of praise, there are 5 things you must do.

1. CHEER UP
Any time you look downcast, you go down quickly I don’t care what you have been through, cheer up

Nehemiah 2:1-2 (KJV)  And it came to pass in the month Nisan, in the twentieth year of Artaxerxes the king, that wine was before him: and I took up the wine, and gave it unto the king. Now I had not been beforetime sad in his presence.
Wherefore the king said unto me, Why is thy countenance sad, seeing thou art not sick? this is nothing else but sorrow of heart. Then I was very sore afraid,

It is against the dictates of God to come before Him in mourning!
You should not appear before the King with a sad countenance.

Isaiah 61:1-3 (KJV)  The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.

Every time you complain, you remain where you are…
Every time you praise, you are raised!

The King does not hear you from the gate.

2. CLEAN
To operate in the court, you must be clean.

Psalms 92:12-13 (KJV)  The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.

The righteous are those who are planted in the court
You cannot enter into His court with unclean hands
You can not even make a prayer that will.shake the heavens

3.  Make God the CHIEF
It is not about you, but about God.

Esther 5:2 (KJV)  And it was so, when the king saw Esther the queen standing in the court, that she obtained favour in his sight: and the king held out to Esther the golden sceptre that was in his hand. So Esther drew near, and touched the top of the sceptre.

It is not about you. To be in His court, it is only an audience of one who is Jehovah!

Psalms 96:8 (KJV)  Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts.

Give God the glory.
If you try to share His glory, you will be kicked out!

Psalms 84:2 (KJV)  My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the LORD: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.

He wanted to be in the court where one word from him can change the verdict.

Psalms 84:10 (KJV)  For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.

His
My life is a product of being in the courts of the King.

When you are in His court, only the opinion of the King matters.
The machinations, bickerings, gossip, backstabbing, and blackmail notwithstanding, the King will vindicate and establish you in the Name of Jesus.

Ecclesiastes 8:4 (KJV)  Where the word of a king is, there is power: and who may say unto him, What doest thou?

4. Come with CONFIDENCE
Hebrews 4:16 (KJV)  Let us, therefore, come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

You can determine what happens in your bedroom but you must come BOLDLY.

Too many Christians do not. have power in the court because of fear and timidity.
They disqualify themselves with their words

Esther enter with confidence as the Queen, notwithstanding that she had not called in three months

Too many believers come to God begging rather than believing.
This does not have God. Faith does

5. CHASE
YOU HAVE got to become a God chaser

Psalms 42:1 (KJV)  As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God.

The deer has a 360° vision because he is easy prey to bigger animals like the lion, but when he is thirsty; and finds water, he puts his head down and does not care about anything and anyone

Psalms 135:1-2 (KJV)  Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the name of the LORD; praise him, O ye servants of the LORD.
Ye that stand in the house of the LORD, in the courts of the house of our God,

The people who are willing to stand are people who are willing to go into the house of the Lord.

Many have been standing outside and God wants you to come inside

The question is…..Are you in the court or at the gate?

Ezekiel 44:17 (KJV) And it shall come to pass, that when they enter in at the gates of the inner court, they shall be clothed with linen garments; and no wool shall come upon them, whiles they minister in the gates of the inner court, and within.

To get inside the court, DONT STRUGGLE, JUST SURRENDER!

If we spend much time talking inside the court, rather than complaining, things must change. Things must happen.

Get out of the gate
Stop hanging out with those at the gate

Cheer up
Go in majestically like Queen Esther

Ask me of the nations

Psalm 2:8 Ask Me, and I will make the nations Your inheritance,

God wants you to change things from his court because this is where everything changes

If you move from the gate into his courts,
Sickness will become health;
Poverty will become properíty;
Sadness will become rejoicing.

James 4:8 (KJV)  Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double-minded.

God says Draw nigh to me…you have got to take the first step.

Philippians 3:10 (KJV)  That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

Step into the Court of Heaven. Cry to God to give you the heart of a God chaser

One day Blind Bathemaus heard that Jesus was passing by.

This means many had been passing by that way

The Bible says the more they tried to stop him, the more he cried out
Jesus stood still!

Tonight Heaven will stand still for you.
When Jesus stood by He commanded him to be brought to Him.

1. Where there is a voice to cry, God will hear him
2. He cried with expectation
The Bible says the expectations of the righteous shall not be cut off.
3. Resislence had to capacity to give him attention

If you can be committed to giving Jesus a call heaven will give you attention.

This same Jesus is coming to you.
With a heart of expectation, be ready to cry out to him and heaven will hear you in the Name of Jesus.

And thou shalt be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just.

When you make food or medication available to persons around us, we are doing the will of God. We are becoming a blessing to one another.

Our nation isnlassing through a turbulent time and it is incumbent upon us to become blessings to people.

We may not so much or the capacity to do so much, but in your own corner, give it your best.

The giver never lacks. It is heavenly principles.

Proverbs 11:24 (KJV)  There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty.

As we share may healing take place and may Gods blessings rest on everyone in the Name of Jesus.

Lord, we place a demand in heaven. Let your power be present in this house to heal.
