1. Relationships
Everything about our MARRIAGES is on relationship.

In many homes, couples are not on speaking terms and children with parents and vice versa.

When the Bible’s says Jesus is a friend that sticks closer than a brother, that’s relationship.

When you have the grace for relationship, even the devil will be at peace with you!

The grace for relationship is that you can cope with anyone and anywhere.

John 1:14 MSG The Word became flesh and blood,
    and moved into the neighborhood.
We saw the glory with our own eyes,
    the one-of-a-kind glory,
    like Father, like Son,
Generous inside and out,
    true from start to finish.

The word here is Jesus. The mystery of God is when Jesus came and live on earth with the flesh of man. Until He came, people had several ideas and notions about the person of God.

Jesus lived with is and learnt the trade of carpentry. He asked questions and was interested with everything.

He came to show us the Father. He made reference to God as our Father! He didn’t make Himself different from man  and when. He was going to be betrayed, the people needed someone to identify the Master!

If you want to succeed in anything, you must come.down from.the mountain and relate with people, otherwise that person will not go very far.

We need others. That maid is important and your life depends on him. All the people you think are nobody are important. Treat them well so that you cal live long.

We should learn from our Lord Jesus.

How did he relate with his disciples and their relatives?

Jesus had to follow Peter to heal his sick mother in law. Relationships have credit and debit. You build on the Creditand withdraw from Debit. You build on the credit and withdraw from the debiy

The basis for relationship is communication and  compliments. It. Is complementing one another. When God gave man a wife, He gave a help meet  and not a help mate

Relationship must be unconditional. You cannot build a future without being consistent.

2 Wisdom for the Use of the Tongue
Most crisis at home is because of wrong use of the tongue.

James 3: 2-6 NKJV  or we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body. 3 Indeed, we put bits in horses’ mouths that they may obey us, and we turn their whole body. 4 Look also at ships: although they are so large and are driven by fierce winds, they are turned by a very small rudder wherever the pilot desires. 5 Even so the tongue is a little member and boasts great things. See how great a forest a little fire kindles! 6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity. The tongue is so set among our members that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire by hell. . 

Proverbs 21:24 NKJV A proud and haughty man—“Scoffer” is his name;
He acts with arrogant pride.

Mind what you say to your children. If your want to build a good home, check your tongue.

Proverbs 10:19-21 NKJV In the multitude of words sin is not lacking,
But he who restrains his lips is wise.
20 The tongue of the righteous is choice silver;
The heart of the wicked is worth little.
21 The lips of the righteous feed many,
But fools die for lack of wisdom.

Mind what you say say and don’t spend your time gossiping.
Receive grace to speak with wisdom abuse people that God send your way. Don’t do to the other  kids  what you will not want others to do to yours.

Don’t take advantage of the vulnerable. God is watching from heaven!

Don’t sleep with your own daughter because you are bringing a curse upon yourself and family.

When a child is raped, a destiny is affected! It is an abomination before God.

Even if it’s a curse or manipulations from the pit of hell, seek godly help.

The goodnews is that God has not given up on anyone.

PRAYERS
Jesus is all knowing and He knows everything about us

pray for yourself and your marriage. May the blood of Jesus set you free and destroy the consequences of sin in our lives.

For the ones seeking life partners, may God bring the right persons to you.

For those who have been hurt by parents and children as well as spouses, may God help us to forgive one another because we are not Angels and therefore not infallible.

For those seeking the fruit of the womb, may God heal them in the Name of Jesus Christ!

To you the great God and King, the Father of light in whom there is no variableness or shadows of turning, we ask for your mercies, wisdom and help upon our families.

Our families will not fail you . Our children and spouses will.not fail you. This church will be a favoured, blessed and glorious family in the Name of Jesus Christ!

God is the Builder of Families – Bishop Sunny Faith Ugbah

Hebrews 3:4 NKJV
For every house is built by someone, but (A)He who built all things is God.

God is the one who builds everything. No matter how we work, without God, nothing can happen.

Hebrews 11:10 NKJV for he waited for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God.

The race is not for the swift or battle for the strong nor bread for men of understanding rather God’s mercy is what makes everything possible  .

Don’t be overconfident. Families are going through challenges but God can show us mercy.

PRAYERS

Lord let your mercy prevail over judgement.

Intervene in our lives and circumstances.

Create understanding, peace, and prosperity in the Families

Give every family here Breakthroughs. Let the familes experience your peace and divine  intervention.

For those requiring healing, let there be healing,

Any family that is going through battles now, whether visible or invisible, Lord fight our battles and secure our victories.

Turn again the captivity of your people Lord. Give every family a testimony Lord.

Thank you Lord for the answers to our petitions. We are leaving with the miracles and blessings we desire from you in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

All Things Shall Work For Your Family – Bishop Sunny Faith Ugbah

Romans 8:28 NKJV And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those (A)who are the called according to His purpose.

All things work together
If you are called by God even your marriage will work for your good in the Name of Jesus

You may have met anywhere including church, but God ochestrated everything and we must not despise what God has blessed.

The truth is that there is no perfect marriage, no home is also perfect even the ones we admire, it is work in progress

I encourage you that no matter the challenges you face at home, remember that what God cannot do does not exist! God can change anybody
Don’t give up on yourselves or marriages.

PRAYERS
May God manifest the reason behind your marriage. Your marriage will end in glory. God will glorify your family in the Name of Jesus!

Thank you Lord for my family. Thank you for my spouse and children. Let everything begin to work together for our good.

The children will not despise their families

The husband will have no regrets about marrying the wife and vice versa

Let every resentments be destroyed in the Name of Jesus!

Lord Yiu brought us together for good not for war. We deçlare every family here crisis free in the Name of Jesus!

You are the God of the families. You are interested in our good and we pray that you perfect all that concerns us
Every family will be glorified
Every family will be celebrated in the Name of Jesus.

Anything that wants to destroy the family is destroyed

Every santanic activity in the family is terminated and we pray that your peace will reign in every family

Let there be Breakthroughs, joy and peace in every family in the Name of Jesus Christ!

Psalms 127 NKJV

Unless the Lord builds the house,
They labor in vain who build it;
Unless ^(A)the Lord guards the city,
The watchman stays awake in vain.
² It is vain for you to rise up early,
To sit up late,
To ^(B)eat the bread of sorrows;
For so He gives His beloved sleep.

³ Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord,
The fruit of the womb is a reward.
⁴ Like arrows in the hand of a warrior,
So are the children of one’s youth.
⁵ Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them;
They shall not be ashamed,
But shall speak with their enemies in the gate

1. God can build the family
2. God can protect the family

3. God can give peace to every family. Anywhere there is sorrow, the Prince of peace will bring peace in the Name of Jesus.

4. God can give godly children. Children are Blessings, not burdens. By the communion today, God will make children your heritage.

5. God does not only give children, He helps a family to raise godly children. An irresponsible parent will only raise irresponsible children. Children are the reflections of their parents whether by acts or omissions.

Children are the products of their parents. If you do not bring them up properly, you may live a life of regret in future.

The Bible says blessed is the man who has his quiver full of them. If they are not trained while the quiver is in your hands, when you refuse to sharpen the arrows… A warrior influences the target best when the arrow is still in his hands

Our children will give us peace. They will not reduce us or make us poor. Rather they will make the poor to become rich. Don’t regret whatever you are spending on your children.

PRAYERS

My father I thank you because you hear me always. Today I present my spouse, my children and myself to you and say Lord build us up, as we should be built build us up as a godly family

Every plan of the devil against my family is thwarted. I release my family into your abled hands. I receive the communion that the Prince Peace will be resident in my family.

Everything and anything you have not planted shall be destroyed. I thank you Lord because I know you have heard me for I have prayed in the Name of Jesus.

Whatever you have not planted in my family, let it be uprooted.

Anywhere the devil is doing overtime in our family, we scan him and we call it done in the Name of Jesus Christ.

No one will take our blessings in the Name of Jesus!

Giving to a parent is an avenue for God’s blessings.

God will never allow your hands to be dried when you give to your parents.

Even when Jacob got the blessings through trickery, he was still blessed.

To enter into your financial fortune, you must give to your parents and to the poor.

We need money daily and to be able to afford this you must maintain the financial obligations of seeding, tithes and offerings
May God engrace us to give and sow seeds when and where necessary.

We must give cheerfully so that our financial statuses will change in the Name of Jesus!

May you grace enable.us to be covenant tithers in the Name of Jesus!

The family is the building block of society and if the family is destroyed, there is nothing anyone can do.

In families we have challenges but God has all the answers. A wise man once said: take care of your home. No amount of success in your career or vocation can compensate for failure in your home . You can lose money but don’t lose your family. Be ready to give your life for your family.

Never Joke with family. Family is everything.

Psalms 127:1- NKJV Unless the Lord builds the house,
They labor in vain who build it;
Unless the Lord guards the city,

God is the One who places people in families and no man is a biological accident. He places everyman in a family for a purpose.

He is the builder and supervises the construction of the family.

We have to built according to God’s pattern.

The scriptural directive for wives to submit themselves to the husband is not subject to argument. The husband is to love unconditionally.

The husband being the head dies not make him Alpha and Omega. He is to love even when the wife does not deserve it. The true test of love is when the person does not deserve it.

THE BLESSINGS OF BUILDING ACCORDING TO GOD’S PATTERN

Unless the Lord builds the house,… he did not mean that unless the Lord gives consent
The will of God does not equal success.

Gaining admission into the University is not synonymous to graduation. There is a process.

This scripture means partnering with God in what you are doing. You have a part to play.

The battle is over and Jesus said: IT IS FINISHED does not mean that you should no longer pray. This means that all labour and care should be dependant on the BUILDER. The Holy Spirit does not patronize laziness. In the covenant, idleness is forbidden!

Proverbs 6:10-11 A little extra sleep, a little more slumber,
a little folding of the hands to rest
11then poverty will pounce on you like a bandit;

The only time the enemy sows tares is when one is sleeping.

Matthew 13:25

but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way
It means that the human hands without God is vain!

Genesis 11:4 NKJV And they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top is in the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth.”

This plans were without God and God also said: let us go… So let us met with Let us and their languages were confused!

A wise man will encourage his wife to be spiritual and a wise woman will be pushing the husband forward for the things of God, for the company you keep determines who you become. No man can escape the character of a relationship!

A peaceful and happy home is every couple’s dream, while a crisis ridden home is a couple’s nightmare.

Proverbs 24:3-6 NKJV Through wisdom a house is built,
And by understanding it is established;
4 By knowledge the rooms are filled
With all precious and pleasant riches.
5 A wise man is strong,
Yes, a man of knowledge increases strength;
6 For by wise counsel you will wage your own war,
And in a multitude of counselors there is safety.

Marriage is entered by attraction and compatibility, but it is sustained by wisdom.

Challenges will come from.in-laws, out-laws and side-laws…

Mathew 7:24-27 NKJV Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: 25 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.

26 “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: 27 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.”

A wise man builds on the rock, and that rock is Jesus.

Both marriages from.the above scripture suffered the same assault.

The rain always comes to test the coverings,

The storms will come.to test the stability,

The floods will come.to test the foundations, and if the foundation is destroyed, what can the righteous do?

Don’t complain for what you allowed and don’t blame anyone for what you permitted. You will not eat the bread of sorrows in the Name of Jesus Christ

Proverbs 10:22 NKJV The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, And He adds no sorrow with it

Who permitted the devil into Eve’s family? Any snake in your home is commanded to die in the Name of Jesus Christ!

You must have rest because God gives His beloved sleep. Rest here is because you know God’s thoughts for you which are thoughts of peace!

Philippians 4:6-7 NKJV Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

The Pilot is in-charge and the storms will soon be over!

When you have done all you need to do, please sleep! Trust the builder. He says FEAR NOT! I WILL HELP YOU!. Even in prison waiting to be executed, Peter was sleeping!

PRAYERS

Every evil chain around your life and family is commanded to be destroyed.

Lord impact me with wisdom for success, joy and wisdom to.make my spouse happy and to be a successful family in the Name of Jesus

Thank you Lord for giving us peace and rest. Your spouse and  children will give you rest and peace in the Name of Jesus, Amen.

Passion for God’s Work – Workers Meeting with Bishop Sunny Ugbah

John 4:31-35 NKJV
In the meantime His disciples urged Him, saying, “Rabbi, eat.”
32 But He said to them, “I have food to eat of which you do not know.”
33 Therefore the disciples said to one another, “Has anyone brought Him anything to eat?”
34 Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work. 35 Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest!

The work of God requires haste and should be done urgently because time is no more in our hands

We eat to live, not live to eat. The same way we desire food is the same way we should passionately desire the word of God.

We must prioritise the work of God at all times

Now is the harvest time. The season we are in now is the season of Harvest.

Tomorrow is not guaranteed so we should do the work today.

God’s work is not what we do at our leisure.

A Christian worker must therefore not see service as a burden. Food is meant to be enjoyed so a Christian worker should enjoy serving God

The sons of Issachar had understanding of the time and knew what Israel ought to do.

As a Church worker, we must have this conviction of who we will be leaving the work of God to.

Most people see the things of God as mere religion or club activities. The church is a family. No man charges to serve in his father’s house. Just like we do not pay our children to sweep the house, a believer who wants to charge for services does not know where he belongs.

We must be sure that we are saved. We are born again. This is the foundation of our faith, for if the foundation is faulty, then the righteous can do nothing.

1. This is the passion to do the WILL OF HIS FATHER

2. This reveals PURPOSE. Jesus knew His purpose. When the purpose of a thing is unknown, abuse is inevitable!

In our different departments, if we do not take our roles and responsibilities, that would be an abuse of office. We must see our responsibilities as our functions and this way the system will flow!

3. FOCUS – Jesus was focussed on His assignment If you are not focussed something will go wrong.

4. Jesus was disciplined. He knew exactly what He was supposed to.do.  A church that is not disciplined cannot achieve much!

5. Impact consciousness. Jesus had his part to play and He performed His assignment.

Time no longer tarries. You must achieve what was intended to be achieved . Jesus had passion for His assignment and successes..

Develop passion for the things of God.

Nehemiah heard about the distress of his people and took a fast, the when to help out
The disciples had to cover the whole world staging crusades

Are you passionate for the work of God?

The House That God Builds -Bishop Sunny Faith Ugbah

Psalms 127:1-2 NKJV

127 Unless the Lord builds the house,
They labor in vain who build it;
Unless the Lord guards the city,
The watchman stays awake in vain.
² It is vain for you to rise up early,
To sit up late,
To eat the bread of sorrows;
For so He gives His beloved sleep.

The house here is the family and God is the builder God as the builder does so according to pattern.

This is what the Lord wants …there are no short cuts to destiny.. it is important to have the right foundation.

If you have a wrong foundation, all you can do for yourself is to correct it.

There are cases where people live in together without having the marriage blessed of the Lord. That is a disaster waiting to happen! When things are done outside God’s counsel, it is not right.

God is the builder of the family! Except God is involved in building the family:

1. All The labourers in that project labour in vain.

2. Those who are watching and working towards it are doing so in vain.

3. Until you get back to correct foundation the wrong foundation laid, and everything done is in vain  (Psalms 127:2). Many have given money for sacrifices ignorantly to their detriments.

There are so many challenges in homes now, because of wrong foundations.

1. We must acknowledge God as the builder of our homes

What the Lord builds, He guides. Hebrews 3:4 For every house is builded (or, established) by some one; but he that built (or, established) all things is God.

If God is not at the beginning, there are bound to be storms
Hebrews 11:10 NKJV   for he waited forthe city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God.

May God be the foundation of your home in the Name of Jesus!

1 Corinthians 3:11 KJV v

If Christ is the foundation of our lives, He also should be the foundation of our families

If God is the builder:

1. He chooses the materials. It is not the labourer that chooses the materials for the building  because he could choose something inferior or substandard.(Eph.2:10). God builds according to pattern.  The best thing that can happen to a believer is to discover his purpose on earth. God sees the end from the beginning and knows why He placed us in different families. You are not a biological mistake! Quit complaining!

Never turn you back on your family members, neighbours and all that come your way even when people abuse the privilege. No matter what they do, you cannot be diminished.

Psalms 68:5-9 NKJV

A father of the fatherless, a defender of widows,
Is God in His holy habitation.
⁶ God sets the solitary in families;
He brings out those who are bound into prosperity;
But the rebellious dwell in a dry land.

⁷ O God, when You went out before Your people,
When You marched through the wilderness, Selah
⁸ The earth shook;
The heavens also dropped rain at the presence of God;
Sinai itself was moved at the presence of God, the God of Israel.
⁹ You, O God, sent a plentiful rain,
Whereby You confirmed Your inheritance,
When it was weary.

John 15:16 NKJV

Mathew 19:6 NKJV
Anyone God gives you as your spouse is a blessing from God. He who is joint to a harlot is one  flesh with her and he that is joined to God is one spirit with God.

2. Because He is the builder, He guides the construction of the house. Marriage is a continuous process, this is why the ring is round. The more we constructs the more beautiful it becomes because God is guiding and supervising.

Malachi 2:14-15 NKJV Yet you say, “For what reason?”
Because the Lord has been witness
Between you and the wife of your youth,
With whom you have dealt treacherously;
Yet she is your companion
And your wife by covenant.
15 But did He not make them one,
Having a remnant of the Spirit?
And why one?
He seeks godly offspring.
Therefore take heed to your spirit,
And let none deal treacherously with the wife of his youth.

God does this because He is seeking continuity.

When you force your wife to pack out of your house, God will also pack out of your destiny because He hates divorce!

Don’t ruin the programme of God for your family. The children are watching you.. don’t use your hands to put fire in your Bosson. It will consume you.

3 He ensures the Completion of that project. (Philippians 4:6) whatever God has started in our families, he will complete it in the Name of Jesus!

Stick to God. Don’t blame anyone or take it out on anyone, but look up to God and know that He who started a good work in you is faithful to complete it. Be the best friend of your spouse.

Hebrews 12:2 KJV

Ask the Lord to direct you. Spend some times with God.

In most construction sites, there are challenges but ultimately the edifice will come out beautifully.

We are the LABOURERS (1Corinth 3:9+10 NKJV For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, you are God’s building. ¹⁰ According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I have laid the foundation, and another builds on it. But let each one take heed how he builds on it.

Marriage is work and everyone must be strong because we are all labourers. Labourers do not sleep at the building site.

We must be very careful on how we are building! The kind of materials we are using is also very important. When it is time to fast and pray, do so for your own good!

Things to do:

1. Obey the builders instructions. This will ensure that the house will not collapse.. May your family, children and home not collapse (Psalms 143:10, Proverbs 3:5-6). When God wanted to test Abraham’s faithfulness and requested him to sacrifice his only son, He went to the Abraham. . When God has a word for the family, He goes to the husband and then to the wife for confirmation. God is a God of order.

Not knowing ones place is the cause of many crises in families today

A family that will be blessed is the family that honours the head.

Husbands love your wives even as Christ loved the Church and gave Himself for it!

A happy and peaceful home is the dream of every couple while a sad and unhappy home is every couples nightmare.

Take a day in every week and pray with your spouse for your family

This King was born to reign, but he was taken into captivity with everyone in his kingdom.

This means that whenever God enters a covenant with a man, his people can enter the same covenant and same goes to captivity of a man and his generation or people!

The blindness of a leader can take everyone inside a pit! Including Ezekiel who was a Priest! Sitting down.amonhst the captives!

Psalms 137:1-7 KJV

Five years after this Psalm, Ezekiel was still.sitting in captivity!

Between Psalms and Mathew is over 400 years! They still sat there by the river!

When the Bible says joy comes in the morning, the morning may wait for years until the morning star comes! That morning star is Jesus!!!

When People sit in darkness for long, sometimes they get use to it…

What keeps people perpetually in bondage is sometimes covenants. The devil comes when someone opens the door and gives him legal access! This is the time to declare the acceptable year of the Lord. You have been in sorrows for too long!

There is a God that changes times and seasons, A God who takes away the night hour of men!

Anything that gave the enemy power to lay claims over your family is ended today in the Name of Jesus Christ!

Sometimes these evil spirits provoke the men to do things that will provoke the judgement of God and a curse upon their lives!

We live in a created world! Nothing good ever came out of Nazareth because there was a horn in he spirit realm that scattered them.

God gives life to the dead. He is a life giving God. This is the difference between the first Adam and the last Adam. The first Adam received life, but the last Adam is a quickening spirit. He gives life because He is life and we belong to the last Adam, Jesus Christ.

May every dead thing or cell in your body receive life in the Name of Jesus Christ.

The Bible says He calls the things that be not as of they were.

No matter what men have called you, what God says about you is more important. Whose report do you believe?

The worst thing a man can do to himself is to believe in the hopelessness of the devil.

There is a God who gives hope to the hopeless. He will give you hope in the Name of Jesus!

Remember the story of Noami. She decided to go back to her people after she lost everything, and wanted to change her name from Noami (Pleasant) to Mara (bitterness) because Life had dealt bitterly with her!

But the God of Restoration had better plans for her. May be Yiu are faced with situations which has made you give up on life and your dreams, but there is a God who gives life to the dead and hopeless situations!.

From bitterness to hopelessness…God brought a rich man who had eyes on a stranger and widow! Ruth her daughter in law brought her joy. God will make someone of value to over look those who are slaying to.meet with you and that person will meet you in the Name of Jesus Christ. The God of Restoration will meet with you.

On Friday, the disciples saw their dream die, but on Sunday, Jesus resurrected!

Hear me David…you may be watching the flock while others are being chosen, but God will single you out from the forest! I declare that Heaven will not be silent until you are honoured, crowns and enthrone.

Then you shall know that I, the Lord, have spoken it and performed it,” says the Lord.’ ”

Whatever has been buried in your life, God by Himself will open the grave and bring you out in the Name of Jesus! Back to the land of your promise!

1Corinthians 15:47-49 NKJV The first man was of the earth,  made  of dust; the second Man is the Lord from heaven.  ⁴⁸ As was the man of dust, so also are those who are made of dust; and as is the heavenly  Man, so also are those who are  heavenly.  ⁴⁹ And  as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly Man.

Where you have been sidelined because of the earthly man, heaven will recognise and restore you because of the heavenly man.

Whose image do you carry? You carry the image of the heavenly man!

PRAYERS My Father, I carry the image of Jesus and therefore anything that does not line up with my heavenly image is rejected and destroyed. Today I declare that I am healed, I have hope in God, it is well with me, it is well with my body, my soul, my family and my Whecareer. I belong to the heavenly and terminate every earthly portrait that is not of God. I declare and thus shall it be in the Name of Jesus Christ.

Whatever does not represent the image of Christ is hereby nullified and terminated. Receive a new heart, image, life, grace, victory in the Name of Jesus Christ!

Wherever the earth has failed you, heaven will restore you in the Name of Jesus Christ Amen.
