Don’t Be a Lone Warrior – Bishop Sunny Faith Ugbah

A lone warrior is a warrior that is alone. Many are warriors in their families, but they are alone.

  • They have this false belief that they can do it all alone.
  • Then the LORD God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper suitable for him.” King James Bible And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meetGenesis 2:18
  • God made Eve because He knew that loneliness was not good.

Nehemiah 2:11-20 So I came to Jerusalem, and was there three days.
And I arose in the night, I and some few men with me; neither told I any man what my God had put in my heart to do at Jerusalem: neither was there any beast with me, save the beast that I rode upon.
And I went out by night by the gate of the valley, even before the dragon well, and to the dung port, and viewed the walls of Jerusalem, which were broken down, and the gates thereof were consumed with fire.
Then I went on to the gate of the fountain, and to the king’s pool: but there was no place for the beast that was under me to pass.
Then went I up in the night by the brook, and viewed the wall, and turned back, and entered by the gate of the valley, and so returned.
And the rulers knew not whither I went, or what I did; neither had I as yet told it to the Jews, nor to the priests, nor to the nobles, nor to the rulers, nor to the rest that did the work.
Then said I unto them, Ye see the distress that we are in, how Jerusalem lieth waste, and the gates thereof are burned with fire: come, and let us build up the wall of Jerusalem, that we be no more a reproach.
Then I told them of the hand of my God which was good upon me; as also the king’s words that he had spoken unto me. And they said, Let us rise up and build. So they strengthened their hands for this good work.
But when Sanballat the Horonite, and Tobiah the servant, the Ammonite, and Geshem the Arabian, heard it, they laughed us to scorn, and despised us, and said, What is this thing that ye do? will ye rebel against the king?
Then answered I them, and said unto them, The God of heaven, he will prosper us; therefore we his servants will arise and build: but ye have no portion, nor right, nor memorial, in Jerusalem.

come, and let us build up the wall of Jerusalem, that we be no more a reproach

You will no longer be a reproach in the Name of Jesus

Let us rise up and build. So they strengthened their hands for this good work.

May God raise helpersfor you. Amen.

The God of heaven, he will prosper us; therefore we his servants will arise and build

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.
For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up.
Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm alone?
And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.

You must understand this.

A star can win a game, but it takes a team to win a tournament

Trying to domit alone brings stress to the individuals or organixation.

There 3 groups of people:

  1. Those who make things happen
  2. Those who watch things happen
  3. Those who wonder when things will happen.
  • To make things happen, you cannot walk alone. Your spouse is your Team mate.

  • Whatever you need in life is already provided for in the family
  • The families that make it in life, are those that stay together.
  • There are so many makeovers, acting, make up in families today. A family reproach or failure is a reproach to God
  • One is not as strong as all of us.

  • To walk faster, walk alone, but to go far, work as a team.

1. The first thing Nehemiah did was to access the situation.

  • He did not pretend that all was well.
  • NEHEMIAH DID NOT DISTANT HIMSELF FROM THE PROBLEM

  • ….Then said I unto them, Ye see the distress that we are in, how Jerusalem lieth waste, and the gates thereof are burned with fire: come, and let us build up the wall of Jerusalem, that we be no more a reproach
  • Walls do not collapse in one day. It starts with a crack!
  • Families must sit down and say:we have a problem.

Build up your family as a team where everyone is important
No matter how good a particular child is, every other child has a destiny and each of them is wired differently

But when Sanballat the Horonite, and Tobiah the servant, the Ammonite, and Geshem the Arabian, heard it, they laughed us to scorn, and despised us, and said, What is this thing that ye do? will ye rebel against the king?
Then answered I them, and said unto them,

  • In every neighbourhood, there are enemies( Sanballat and Tobia) who want you jot to enjoy your life. Such persons should be cut off from the family .
  • Anyone that does not value his parents, or one who talks down on your pastor, should not be your friend

Psalms 144:12-15 That our sons may be as plants grown up in their youth; that our daughters may be as corner stones, polished after the similitude of a palace:
That our garners may be full, affording all manner of store: that our sheep may bring forth thousands and ten thousands in our streets:
That our oxen may be strong to labour; that there be no breaking in, nor going out; that there be no complaining in our streets.
Happy is that people, that is in such a case: yea, happy is that people, whose God is the LORD.

  • May God who gives Salvation to men give victory to your family.
  • May God make us helpers to our spouses
  • May God help us to help our children or parents succeed
  • May we nit send our parents to an untimely grave because of our attitutes
  • Lord open my eyes ro see the areas I am hurting my spouse, whether in words or deeds

The Laws of Leadership -Bishop Sunny Faith Ugbah

1. The Law of Sacrifice. Before Jesus resurrected, He first laid down His life. This is the first law of leadership

Philippians 2:8-11 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

  • Leaders who must rise, must learn to sacrifice
  • If you must go up, you must learn to give up something. Leadership must cost you something.

If we desire to go up, we must be willing to give up your BEST

Your level of pain, will detrmine your level of gain

2. The Law of adding Value

  • We add value through service.
  • John 13:1-17 Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end.
    And supper being ended, the devil having now put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, to betray him;
    Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he was come from God, and went to God;
He riseth from supper, and laid aside his garments; and took a towel, and girded himself.
After that he poureth water into a bason, and began to wash the disciples’ feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he was girded.
Then cometh he to Simon Peter: and Peter saith unto him, Lord, dost thou wash my feet?
Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter.
Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me.
Simon Peter saith unto him, Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head.
Jesus saith to him, He that is washed needeth not save to wash his feet, but is clean every whit: and ye are clean, but not all.
For he knew who should betray him; therefore said he, Ye are not all clean.
So after he had washed their feet, and had taken his garments, and was set down again, he said unto them, Know ye what I have done to you?
Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am. And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day.
The Lord then answered him, and said, Thou hypocrite, doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering?
And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?
And when he had said these things, all his adversaries were ashamed: and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him.

The LAST ACTS or Words of a man are usually very important, because he wants to pass on something. This was Jesus’LAST ACT ON EARTH

  • Jesus had to come down to the level of serving other people. This is what He passed on to His disciples.
  • A Christian that cannot bring himself down is not a Christian. Our Master did not teach is class consciousness.

There are 4 things in this law

  1. The motivation should be out of love for God and love for people. A man can love without giving, but no man can give without loving. To love you must have self esteem and security. You must know who you are. You are still who you are. Serving others does not reduce who you are.
  2. You teach leadership by example. The best way to lead is by doing what you have asked others to do. It is not dishing out instruction.
  1. Put others agenda before yours
  2. Develop confidence and security on who you are
  3. Look out for needs to take initiative

He suffered No Man to do them Wrong – Bishop Sunny Faith Ugbah

Psalms 105:8-15 He hath remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations.
Which covenant he made with Abraham, and his oath unto Isaac;
And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant:
Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance:
When they were but a few men in number; yea, very few, and strangers in it.
When they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people;
He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes;
Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.

  • From this scripture, we know that God is able to defend a family. This was the family of Abraham, though they were very few in number.
  • As you receive the communion, God will take the responsibility of protecting your family. Even where there are witches around, they cannot eat your family.

Isaiah 4:5-6 And the LORD will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night: for upon all the glory shall be a defence.
And there shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the daytime from the heat, and for a place of refuge, and for a covert from storm and from rain.

  • No evil is permitted to touch your family in the Name of Jesus!
  • The God of the family shall protect, defend, preserve, heal and establish them. God will plague all who trouble you in the Name of Jesus!

Whatever is lacking in the family, is restored in the Name of Jesus

Psalms 126:4 Turn again our captivity, O LORD, as the streams in the south.

  • God will bring restoration in the Name of Jesus!
  • May we never get to a point where our children will rebuke us in the Name of Jesus! . Our children want to see us succeed. No one wants to learn from a failure!
  • I pray for you. Your family will increase in wealth, influence, dignity amd honour in the mighty Name of Jesus!
  • God will restore the captivity of Zion in the Name of Jesus!

  • We must be an jnspiration to our children, who will lean on our shoulders and see further.
  • Your family will experience breakthrough. God will remember somebody, that out of that dry ground, there will be a bursting forth, an emergence that will bring succour to the families in the Name of Jesus!
  • We receive all that Jesus received on our behalves upon his ressurrection in the Name of Jesus!
  • We receive the full package of the virtue from Jesus!
  • Every failure, demonic subjugation, stagnation is flushed out in the Name of Jesus!
  • Anything that does not represent progress, vitality amd strength is terminated today!
  • When we declare the goodness of Jesus,,it shall be evident in our lives!
  • May our husbands, wives, children, careers and businesses represent Jesus well!

We shall never see shame again!

  • No more tears!
  • No more satanic oppression!
  • No more condemnation!
  • No more humiliation!
  • No more frustration!
  • We have nothing to do with failure. Failures are terminated today in the Name of Jesus!
  • May the blood terminate every crisis!
  • Let darkness and destruction pass us by as we consume the blood!
  • The blood will speak on our behalves in the Name of Gold the Father Son and Holy Ghost!

Whatever is in Jesus, let it be seen in us

  • There is no sickness in Jesus, so sicknesses are terminated in the Name of Jesus!
  • There’s no lack in him, everyone gives what he has. We receive it in the Name of Jesus !
  • May His blood defend us, our families, careers in the Name of Jesus
  • Our families will declare and announce the glory of God !
  • People will be inspired to serve the God that we serve in the Name of Jesus.

Benefits of Redemption -Bishop Sunny Faith Ugbah

Revelation 5:12 Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.

When Jesus was ressurrected, He received power, the 7 dimension of powers

  1. power,
  2. riches,
  3. wisdom,
  4. strength,
  5. honour,
  6. glory,
  7. blessing.

He received them not to hoard them

  • He received power so we cannot be weaklings
  • He received riches so we cannot be poor
  • He received wisdom, we cannot be stranded
  • He received strength, we cannot be weak
  • He received honoir, we cannot see Shame
  • He received glory, we cannot be reduced
  • He received Blessing and we cannot be cursed

A man can only give what he has.

  • Lord we reject whatever you do notbhave Jesus
  • You do not have sickness, we reject sicknesses and disease

    7. blessing.

You are worthy to receive power, glorify your church this year

  • Let every life, family, career and business be glorified
  • Whatever Jesus does notbhave, yiu will not have it.
  • Whatever Jesus did not receive as a blessing of ressurrection is terminated
    • power,
    • riches,
    • wisdom,
    • strength,
    • honour,
    • glory,
    • blessing.

Are hereby released to us! Amen.

    • glory,
    • blessing.

In the Name of Jesus.

Sacrifice-The 5th Key of God’s Power – Bishop Nick Iheanacho

Jesus is risen, He is alive. He is no more in the grave!

There are Seven keys of God’s power

Prayer is the first,
Sacrifice is the fifth,
Blood is the sixth and
Covenant is the seventh

2 Kings 3:26-27 And when the king of Moab saw that the battle was too sore for him, he took with him seven hundred men that drew swords, to break through even unto the king of Edom: but they could not.
Then he took his eldest son that should have reigned in his stead, and offered him for a burnt offering upon the wall. And there was great indignation against Israel: and they departed from him, and returned to their own land.

  • What happened in this scripture is what God did at the cross with His only Son, Jesus.
  • Israel defeated the 700 gladiators and the King with his family of 8 ran into cave. He thought up something and decided to sacrifice his heir to save the lives of other members of the family and his kingdom!
  • The unbelievers cannot be wiser than the children of light!
  • Who told the King of Moab that there was something like this?

The first son was heir! As soon as his blood dropped on the ground, there was great indignation in the camp of Israel.

In this season, the devil is powerless because of the blood of Jesus!

  • The victory of that battle was by sacrifice! Not weapons….Who told the King that the sacrifice of his son will provoke great indignation?
  • The unbelievers have done great sacrifices at their covens with fresh bllod of innocent children and the sacrifices are speaking for them…and we cannot sacrifice even our time for God! How can we expect such nonchalance to produce positive results?

  • Except we are not celebrating the death and ressurrection of Jesus, we will have the Blood of Christ speak better things for us, who are the elect.

…Archbishop Idahosa preached on the benefits of death!

Everything the devil did to Jesus was a mistake… If I had an opportunity to advise them, I probably would had told them to just beat him up

They said to Herod…we dont want to make another error, and requested that the grave should be made sure (secured).

  • The mistake was continuous….the soldiers fell asleep and when they awoke, they saw that Jesus had already resurrected!
  • They were given bribes to lie that His Disciples stole the body at night. Peter was arrested for preaching resurrection!

1 Corinthians 15:17 And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.

  • You provoke God when you remind Him of the sacrifice of the blood of Jesus, which cause indignation in the camp of the enemy.

If we do not preach that Christ ressurrected, we limit the power of God.

I dont say Happy Easter, I say Happy Ressurrection!

It could be sacrifices of praise, time, substance, self ,without sheding any blood. Present your bodies as a living sacrifice unto God

This means that demonic sacrifices can work against our homes if we do not know the power behind the sacrifice of Jesus.

May the sacrifice be provoked for whatever is holding you bound in the Nae of Jesus!

I don’t know why Jesus loved me
I don’t know why He cared
I don’t know why He sacrificed His life
Oh, but I’m glad, so glad He did
He left His mighty throne in glory
To bring to us redemption’s story
Then He died but He rose again
Oh, but I’m glad, so glad He did

The Anchor of our Souls -Mrs. Mfon Udom

Hebrews 6:17-20 Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath:
That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:
Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;
Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

  • Many times we find ourselves in situations that the natural mind doubts the possibility.
  • Jesus is to us what an achor is to a ship
  • Psalms 91:1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

There must be an abiding first.

  • There must be an abiding first.

  • If you are in Jesus, whatever happens to you must pass through Jesus.

How can you anchor?

  1. Having a constant relationship with God. This ensures that when the storms come, you will be anchored in Jesus. When you dwell, you can go to sleep. Just like every promise of God, there are conditions attached. You must abide. If you abide with your whole heart, nothing will happen to younin the Name of Jesus! Psalms 91:15-16 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

The question is are you abiding?

The Restoration of Hope -Bishop Sunny Faith Ugbah

Luke 24:6 He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee,

Mathew 28:6 He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.

Mark 16:6 And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.

  1. Jesus rose bodily. This resurrection was not a spiritual one. (Luke 24:39). He proved to His disciples that it was not a spiritual resurrection.
  2. Jesus rose eternally. He did not rise to die again. Lazurus, Dorcas, the man of Nain, Jarius daughter, all ressurected and still died again. Jesus died and ressurrected, and He will never die again. (Rev.1:18) This is to strengthen our faith that He is alive (Hebrews 11:6). Whatever the enemy took from you will be restored in the Name of Jesus! God is active in your life and working behind the scene to make life better for you. Amen.
  3. He rose victoriously. He lost everything and virtue, but when He arose, he rose in strength. That is why with his stripes we are healed. He rose without pains. (1 Corinth 15:55, Rev 1:18).

Why do we celebrate ressurrection?

He rose bodily, eternally and victoriously

1 Corinthians 15:1-4 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

  1. Christ died for our sins
  2. He was bruised
  3. He roase again on the 3rd day

There are other lessons to be learnt

The disciples watched their matter confirmed death.

Luke 24:21 But we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, to day is the third day since these things were done.

How many times have we had expectations and have it dashed?

Remember, the absence of leaves in a tree does not mean that the tree is not there . This is the restoration of our hope.

Jesus Did It For Us -Bishop Sunny Faith Ugbah

The depth of your appreciation determines what you draw from God

Isaiah 52:14-15 As many were astonied at thee; his visage was so marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men:
So shall he sprinkle many nations; the kings shall shut their mouths at him: for that which had not been told them shall they see; and that which they had not heard shall they consider.

Isaiah 52:14-15 NIV The Sovereign Lord has given me a well-instructed tongue,
to know the word that sustains the weary.
He wakens me morning by morning,
wakens my ear to listen like one being instructed.
5 The Sovereign Lord has opened my ears;
I have not been rebellious,
I have not turned away.

Even before Jesus went to the Cross, He was so disfigured and mobbed

  • Isaiah 50:6 I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting.

The shamed him for our sakes

Psalms 22:6-7, 15, 17 But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.
All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head saying,
My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death.
I may tell all my bones: they look and stare upon me.

Matthew 26:67 Then did they spit in his face, and buffeted him; and others smote him with the palms of their hands,

Matthew 27:28-30 And they stripped him, and put on him a scarlet robe.
And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews!
And they spit upon him, and took the reed, and smote him on the head.

Luke 22:64 And when they had blindfolded him, they struck him on the face, and asked him, saying, Prophesy, who is it that smote thee?

Isaiah 53:4-5 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Isaiah 53 4-5 MSG

But the fact is, it was our pains he carried – our disfigurements, all the things wrong with us. We thought he brought it on himself, that God was punishing him for his own failures.

5 But it was our sins that did that to him, that ripped and tore and crushed him – our sins! He took the punishment, and that made us whole. Through his bruises we get healed.

  • Anything that could possibly go wrong with humanity, Jesus carried it.
  • Our sins stripped and crushed Him
  • His punishments made us whole!

Jesus did not just walk up to the Cross. It was God alone that sustained Him.

  • He was blooded and crushed. 5 THINGS WERE DONE TO HIM
  1. Strickened
  2. Smittened
  3. Afflicted
  4. Wounded
  5. Crushed

Celebrate what Jesus did for you at the Cross !

No More Tears, The Lion of The Tribe of Judah Has PREVAILED -Bishop Sunny Faith Ugbah

Sorrow and grief do not have the last word. Jesus hasbthe FINAL SAY!

  • EVERY CHALLENGE HAS A SHELF LIFE
  • Whatever challenge younhave today has a shelf life, it will not be there for ever!
  • Revelation 5:1-10 And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.
And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?
And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.
And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.
And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.
And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.
And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.
And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.
    And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
  • Sorrow, disappointment tears, brokenness, frustration, disease, pains , Grief and death do not have the final say, Jesus has last word!
  • There is no more tears because THE LION OF JUDAH HAS PREVAILED!
  • Only if you can belueve that situation is in the hands of Jesus, and what was meant to destroy you has already lostbits power.
  • What made others go down will not see your downfall.
  • Your victory and breakthrough has already been secured.

Jeremiah 31:16-17 Thus saith the LORD; Refrain thy voice from weeping, and thine eyes from tears: for thy work shall be rewarded, saith the LORD; ad they shall come again from the land of the enemy.
And there is hope in thine end, saith the LORD, that thy children shall come again to their own border.

  • Whatever is making you shed tears, your work shall be rewarded!
  • Anyone who is succeeding today, suffered something in then past. No matter how careful you may be, you cannot control the actions of others against you.
  • The Bible says:These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended. … in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the then world .. (John 16:31)
  • Whatever happens, Godnhas got you covered! Before the fight, your victory has been covered. If man refuses to reward you, God will reward you for the reward of man is temporal.
  • NO MAN CAN PROMOTE YOU ABOVE HIMSELF. Take your eyes above men and look up to God! No matter how He blesses you, it does not reduce Him. God will compensate me! Amen.

When itbis very cloudy, look beyond today and see lightvatbthe end of the tunnel. When God blesses you, you will forget all your tears.

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

No More Tears because

  1. God will reward you
  2. God is with you
