The Father’s Business – Bishop Suny Faith Ugbah.

Luke 24::22-30 NKJV

24 Now there was also a dispute among them, as to which of them should be considered the greatest. 25 And He said to them,“The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them, and those who exercise authority over them are called ‘benefactors.’26 But not so among you; on the contrary, he who is greatest among you, let him be as the younger, and he who governs as he who serves. 27 For who is greater, he who sits at the table, or he who serves? Is it not he who sits at the table? Yet I am among you as the One who serves.

28 But you are those who have continued with Me in My trials.29 And I bestow upon you a kingdom, just as My Father bestowed one upon Me, 30 that you may eat and drink at My table in My kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.”

  • Greatness is a function of service, committment ans dedication.
  • The reason God left us here is to build the kingdom.
  • 1 Corinth 4:2 NKJV Moreover it is required in stewards that one be found faithful.

  • Hebrews 3;1-2 NKJV Therefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Christ Jesus, 2 who was faithful to Him who appointed Him, as Moses also was faithful in all His house.
  • Christ discharged His services faithfully.
  • Moses too was faithful.
  • Psalms 92:12-15 NKJV

    The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree,
    He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
    13 Those who are planted in the house of the Lord
    Shall flourish in the courts of our God.
    14 They shall still bear fruit in old age;
    They shall be fresh and flourishing,
    15 To declare that the Lord is upright;
    He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.

  • To be planted in His house means that God Himself located us where we are,
  • The resources for the work where He has located us is already in OUR HANDS.
  • God has planted us here and if this work must flourish, it is in our hands already?

If this church would experiemce growth, it is we that will make it happen.

  • If 90% does not solve our problems, 10% will not!
  • There cannot be growth in the work without financial committment.

  • Soul winning is another vital aspect. Iron sharpens iron.
  • Look out for each other when they are abssnt from service.
  • Church growth is every member’s responsibility. This is Christian stewardship.
  • It is our father’s business and we must go about it passionately.
