Every instruction should be obeyed. The summary of the Bible is obedience. It comes spontaneously!

7 Grades of STINGY PEOPLE

  • Ecclesiastes 5:13 NKJV
    There is a severe evil which I have seen under the sun:
    Riches kept for their owner to his hurt.
  • Some things are merely to pass through our hands to others. When we withhold it, it becomes hurty to us.
  • The book of Ecclesiastes was written out of regrets. It tells us of experiences, of what so eone receieves a d cannot enjoy it!
  • Luke 12:20 KJV But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?
  • The rich man amazed so much wealth and decided to enjoy, but God said to him, thou fool, thy soul is required tonight…
  • The stingy person closes his ears to the needs of others.
  • Deuteronomy 15:7 KJV If there be among you a poor man of one of thy brethren within any of thy gates in thy land which the Lord thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not harden thine heart, nor shut thine hand from thy poor brother:
  • The tighening of fist is because your mind is not made up.
  • Until your mind is made up, your body cannot fumction to respond.
  • James 3:5 KJV Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!

1. The I Don’t Care Grade

  • They hide their identity so as not to contribute for any projects in church.

2. The Strict amd Reserve Grade

  • People in this group will usually give, but very little.

3. The Please Come Again Tomorrow

  • Proverbs 3:27-28 NIV
    Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due,
    when it is in your power to act.
    28 Do not say to your neighbor,
    “Come back tomorrow and I’ll give it to you”—
    when you already have it with you.
  • The moment you say” go and come again”, God is looking at your pocket, because he knows our intentions and is always searching your mind. He searxhes the reins and our hearts.

4. The Complainer Grade

  • Job 3:4 KJV
    May that day be darkness;
    May God above not seek it,
    Nor the light shine upon it.
  • When you meet these ones, you are forced to give even the ones you have.
  • They seem to have more problems than your request.
  • God has pronounced a curse on this day.
  • When you fail to help those whom God himself has kept for you, you shut doors against yourself.

5. The Deceiver Grade

  • Proverbs 28:18-19 KJV

    Whoso walketh uprightly shall be saved: but he that is perverse in his ways shall fall at once.

    19 He that tilleth his land shall have plenty of bread: but he that followeth after vain persons shall have poverty enough.

  • They always say, I wish you came earlier than now.
  • Believers should not be involved in deveiving their neighbours.
  • Mathew 7:12 KJV Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
  • This is a cardinal principle for treating people. You have to discover where the Lord has opened your heavens. I discovered mine.

  • The transfer you have received may be for an ill intention, but it will definitely change your level.

  • I paid fees for students who do well, all the degrees I obtained in England, people paid my fees! Even my children have enjoyed this!
  • When God blesses you, be a blessing to others.
  • If you are believing .God for children, take care of children and God will cause children cry in your house too.

6. The Shylock Grades

  • They give you money to return it with interest.
  • Proverbs 28:8 KJV8 He that by usury and unjust gain increaseth his substance, he shall gather it for him that will pity the poor.
  • Don’t ever do this as a Christian.

7. The Mask Face Grade

  • Proverbs 21:13 KJV Whoso stoppeth his ears at the cry of the poor, he also shall cry himself, but shall not be heard.
  • Their faces discourages people from making any request.

WHY DOES GOD WANTS US TO GIVE OFFERING?

  • Genesis 1:1 KJV In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
  • This verse creates an impression that all is well
  • Genesis 1:2 -3 KJV

    And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

  • This is a contracdiction of verse 1. God could not have created an imperfect earth.
  • Lucifer, was given the power to announce the morning. Till date he tries to detect what happens to men in the morning.
  • Rev. 12:7-12 KJV

    And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

  • When he was cast down from heaven, he was seeking opportunity to usurp authority from Adam and succeeded.
  • Job 38:12 -13 KJV

    Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days; and caused the dayspring to know his place;13 That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it?

  • HAVE YOU COMMANDED THE DAY AND THE MORNING HAVING KNOWN THIS SECRET?
  • Theologically speaking, what is done in Genesis 1 shows that there was an exostence which was called to be made manifest.
  • Why did God command light to come? To show the door?
  • Isaiah 45:1-3 KJV

    Thus saith the Lord to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut;2 I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:3 And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the Lord, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.

  • The secret of riches is in secret places. You either follow God to discover it or join the occult to sustain what the devil gives you theough constly sacrifices.
  • Mathew 4:8-9 KJV

    Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.

  • The devil was showing the creator the riches of the world to have his worship.
  • This is why people prefer to stay home and wprship the devil for the welth of the earth.

2 Corinth 4:4 KJV 4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

NOT EVERY RELIGION KNOWS HIM AS LORD NOW.

  • whatever is contemding with Christ now, is contending with His Lordship.
  • it takes discipline to move towards God.
  • Deut 16:16-17 KJV

    Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before theLord thy God in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: and they shall not appear before the Lord empty:17 Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the Lord thy God which he hath given thee.

  • YOU WAY OF GIVING DETERMINES YOUR STATUS.
  • You can give whatever you want to give, but heaven determines the parameters.
  • 1 Corinth 16:1-2 KJV

    Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye.2 Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.

  • Offering is an order.
  • Your giving is determined by the standard God has prospered you.
  • Evetyone who gave in the Bible, their stories were specially written.
  • – The woman with the alabaster box
  • – the boy with 5 loaves and 2 fishes

We do not know where the tressures in the dark are.

  • If You follow God, he will tell you where money is
  • God knew they were poor people in churxh, yet He demands that none appears before Him empty.
  • The widow with the little jar is to tell us never yo feel what we have is too small.
  • As you practice the principles of giving, may your heavens be opened.
  • Galatians 4:15-14KJV

    And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.14 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.

  • In this city, you shall be blessed
  • May God cause anyone holding your blessings to release them in the Name of Jesus!
